This is an information site for people who are concerned with the safety and health of our food and environment in their local community.

I started this group after years of learning about agricultural practices and why they're so critical to human health and the environment. I established relationships with local regenerative farmers as I switched over from buying food produced by factory farms.  My health improved considerably. I was no longer consuming foods with chemicals, antibiotics, hormones and GMO's. And the regenerative farmed food is more nutrient dense.

I've seen how large agricultural and big food companies do not want competition from small regenerative farms who do not use chemicals and other harmful practices. I've read and heard farmers' comments about how unfair regulations and restrictions are placed on small farms so as to make it more difficult for them to stay in business. Factory farms destroy the soil, our water ways and the air we breathe. They get huge subsidies and crop insurance funded by us taxpayers. They damage our health and destroy our communities. Factory farm food may be cheaper in the grocery stores but the real costs are hidden. It's much more costly when you consider our health, our environment and taxpayer costs. This has concerned me immensely.

We need to support our local regenerative farms. They are our most valuable community asset. The farmers work hard to provide us safe, healthy food. We need to promote them by educating our communities. By doing this we hope to create demand for their food products which will raise them up, improve our health, improve our environment, and make our communities thrive.
